    Hi,

I have tried to remove amp plugin, i set up the rule to make a redirect for all the page using amp.

Now they already pass 10 days, but if i search for the link on google some pages continue to redirect me on the amp page and other’s not.

How is it possible that the amp page continue to exist?

  • Hi @letsdothis33,

Sorry for the inconvenience and I’m here to help you.

Once you uninstall the AMP plugin, please clear your site cache or any other cache mechanism (Opcache, Object Cache) on your site.

You may still get some traffic from the AMP cache (search engine crawls your site and stores the version of the page and serves it when required from mobile) for 2-3 weeks until Googlebots re-crawl your site and remove the AMP cache.

You can also request for removing AMP cache using this tool manually, here some reference guide for Removing AMP pages from Google Search.

    Hope this is helpful!

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you require any further assistance.
