Removing an Image from blog summary

I would like my home page to show excerpts of the text from my posts without showing the images that are contained in the actual post. Here is my website

If you look at the top left post ‘A Journey’ you will see that in the summary of the text it is pulling an image from the post itself. Does anyone know how to eliminate this?
