• Hi,

I am changing the design of my website currently and wanted to import all my old blog posts and images directly from my old website/design to the new one but it’s not working correctly and just looks a mess.

So I would like to remove it and just start from scratch and do the “importing” manually as in writing all the blog posts back again by hand one by one. Just so I know they will display 110% perfect and how it should be.

I tried removing the template/design and installing it again through the Appearance Menu but still displays the import I did at the start.

So how do I remove this? Without causing to much hassle and ruining the design of the template that i purchase.

  • Hi
You might try this plugin WordPress Database Reset https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-database-reset . It will let you pick which aspects of your database you will like to delete. But you should be careful because you can intentionally delete all of your data.

Let me know if this works or you have any issues.

Thanks! I have loaded it up but unsure what to select as they are 8-10 options to choose from and don’t want to select something and loose everything!

I was just wondering why when I deleted the old theme that I installed and reinstall it again via Zip file that it does not just load the blank original theme from the beginning again? But it loads up again with the old backup data

Because the theme information is saved in a completely different place then other data.

The selection you should make will like have something to do with post or postmeta.
