Removing ‘archives’ from home page

    Hi i would like some help with my home page,

    so first of all sorry the website i linked is in dutch, but the word archives ‘archieven’ is showing on my home page, i would like to set a diffrent word or rather completely remove it, hope anyone knows how to do this.

    Hi there,

    This is something that is inserted by your theme, most likely in the archive-product.php file. I recommend one of the following:

    1. Reaching out to your theme developer to ask for help
    2. Manually adjusting your archive-product.php page to remove the ‘Archieven:” string
    3. Use a plugin such as Loco Translate to find and replace the string you wish to adjust.

    Hi thanks for your reply,

    i checked the ‘archive-product.php’ and can’t find the word ‘Archieven’ anywhere in it.
    And when i use loco translate and translate the word ‘archives’ to the word i want it to be it doesn’t change anything on my home page.

    And when i contacted the theme builders they don’t really give me a awnser too.

    Hi there,

    I took another look at your homepage, but did not see the “archieven” string displayed anywhere on the page. I also searched the page source code (in case you had hidden it via CSS) but didn’t find any results.

    Have you already figured out a solution for removing/customizing the string? If so, then that’s great!

    Otherwise, please let us know and provide a bit information about where we can see it.
