• Hello, I stopped using the Astra theme and deleted but I see large data ( about 45K) of the Astra theme in the database shown by LightSpeed Cache.
    How can I remove them?
Will this improve the loading speed of the website?
    Thanks

  • Hi @olganey,

Are you sure it was coming from the Astra theme? If you sure it is Astra’s data, you can delete the row from your site database. You can do it from phpMyAdmin if your hosting provider uses it.

Please be advised that dealing with the site database is very risky. Doing something wrong with it could break your site and loss your data/content. Make sure to create a proper backup of the database.

Personally, if I am not sure about anything related to the database, I will leave it as it is.

    I hope it can help.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Thanks, @bsfherman,

The files a named Astra that’s why I was sure that they are from the Astra theme. And they are the largest in the whole database! My current theme Kadence follows the Astra files.

    1 astra-settings 19524
    2 _astra_sites_old_customizer_data 18307
    3 theme_mods_kadence 17060
    12 astra_sites_import_data 5505
    16 _astra_sites_old_site_options 3253

I do have access to phpMyAdmin but I am not familiar with it. So, I might ask the hosting support for help.

    Kind regards,
    Olga

    Hi @olganey,

Yes, you can delete it from the database if you don’t have any plan to use Astra in the future.

Again, please do everything very careful while dealing with the database and make sure to create a proper backup, just in case. One another thing is, do it at your own risk ??

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
