Removing /attachment/ from the URL ?

  • Hello Hello,

    when I create a gallery each image get’s it’s own attachment page.
    That is cool, I set WordPress to do so.

    However, in the slug (URL) I can always read …/attachment/xxxx.jpg

    Is it possible to remove the “word” attachment from the slug .. I mean, removing it from the URL ?
