I have uploaded a custom image that includes the name of my blog and I want to completely get rid of the 2 boxes that contained the theme name and subhead that are originally part of the theme. You know, those two boxes that disappear when you roll over the header image? That’s what I want gone!

I was able to get rid of the text by getting rid of some code in a div within the “header.php” file, but there are still 2 little boxes there.

Can someone tell me 1) what file to go into and 2) what to look for within the code?

I’m a print designer with only basic CSS knowledge and zero php or jquery knowledge, so please be descriptive if you can!

Thanks in advance for the help! ??

No. There are currently more than 850 themes in the WordPress Themes directory. Most people aren’t intimately familiar with every one of them, so a link to your site would help…

One workaroud is to make your Tagline blank (General Settings). See:

I saw you got rid of the small boxees. Could you tell us how you did it? Thank you!!!

I think if you go to your general blog settings and get rid of both the name and the tagline of your blog (leave them completely blanks) these boxes will disappear ??
