    Hi
I have used featured images on all pages of my website, but want to remove the borders/drop shadow on them – how do I do this please?
Sorry if this has already been asked but I can’t find anything.
    (css knowledge is VERY minimal!)
    Thanks!
    Gill

Just open style.css and search for the text:

“Uncomment following two lines to disable border and shadow on main header”.

I checked and those lines were not in the child theme example, if you’re using child theme, just copy them to 2.7 section of child theme’s style.css. It will be included in the next version.

Thanks so much – was looking in the wrong place in style.css!

Almost happy with everything on our site now – your theme has worked really well to create the clear, simple look that we wanted: https://www.freewheelerstheatre.co.uk

One final thing though, how do I remove the page headers from pages? As you will see this text is included in the featured image so I don’t want it repeated…

    Thanks

    Wonderful site!

I don’t think it’s a good idea to remove page/post titles, think accessibility. Screen readers cannot read what is embed into image.

Also, don’t forget to enable pretty permalinks in settings ??

Another thing, if you want to have a menu item just as a container for sub-items, create a link menu item, then, when it is already created, edit it by deleting the link address, this way you will be able to stack other items under it, but you will not have to create an extra page, sometimes it may be confusing for users too.

    Thank you.
You’re right about accessibility of course – i’ll resist my urge to make it look nicer!
Permalinks and menu items done – thanks for the tips!

    One more thing ??

Now you use mostly pages, but I suggest you use posts for Blogs and News, perhaps even productions.

At this moment all blog posts are under Uncategorized cat, but you can create category “Andy’s Blog”. This way you can have more blogs.

Also you can create category for News, Productions, etc. Everything that is related to a certain moment in a time ??

Pages are mostly for the static content, like About us, contact us, etc…

Great idea, so I’ve done that and now my ‘news’ on menu is a category so links through to relevant posts. Is there a way of getting a header image to display on that page? It’s just showing ‘NEWS’ an a folder icon in green…

In order to not have an empty header, you have to assign the general header for the site in the appearance/header.

If you want to have specific header for each cat, I would need write more later.

Hello there, I am using Tiny Forge and have successfully make a child theme. I am working on a post and in the post there are several images. The post is a draft and is unpublished. I need to make sure the images have no drop shadow when I publish it.

What information do I need to add to the child theme to disable image drop shadows?

    Thank you
