Removing, Changing or Updating Venue isn’t working well

    I was trying to update venues in few events on my site, and found that if I change the venue, it adds that as new venue but keep the existing one as is. Then I tried re-arranging the venues by dragging their position, it has not effect, and the order of the venus is kept as it after updating the event multiple times. Tried this with default WordPress theme 2016 and still had no luck.

    Also, there’s no option to remove the venue if there are multiple.

    I think there’s something wrong with the venues. I hope you’ll look into this and fix it asap.

    Yikes! That is definitely not normal behaviour.
    It sounds like there might be some type of conflict at play there.

    The good news is that we do have a function that should take care of that type of situation.

    Head over to Events -> Settings -> General and look for the “Merge duplicate venues and organizers” button.

    Can you also tell me if you are updating venues from the event directly or by going through the dedicated Venue menu?
