    Awesome plugin, simply works!

Any chance you would consider an option to remove trailing characters such as “:”?

With some H titles in the content it looks like “This is What This Section is About:” but it looks out of place when it’s displayed that way in the TOC.

You can remove those : when including the content in the TOC editor, Then it won’t show in the TOC section.

Hi, thank you for the reply! I cannot find it anywhere. Should the TOC editor be located in WP-Admin > Settings > Table of Contents > Settings?

No, we don’t have any particular setting for that. But you can do it by editing the page/post and remove those : symbols in the content.

We added the option to remove characters in our latest update 2.0.27. Can you please check once by updating the plugin to the latest version and let us know back if you have any issue?

Saw the update, thank you! One thing unexpected was that it removed the “:” from the headers in the content also, but if that is how it has to function then it’s ok. Happy that my input could help to make the plugin even better. Thank you again for the work you did on this plugin and the excellent service. I will look for other ways to support what you’re doing.
