I am working on a page that already had the Facebook Pixel added, through the Facebook Conversion Pixel Plugin, before I started to work on it. Now I need to add Facebook event codes too, and therefore want to swap to using the Pixelmysite Plugin, as recommended.

If I remove the Facebook Conversion Pixel Plugin, will that also remove any code that has been added by this Plugin?
If the code isn’t automatically removed when I remove the plugin, how should I then go about removing the code?
This is important to me because 1) I did try to add the events code and have ended up with two lots of pixel code on the page now, and the one I added is also interfering with other codes, and
    2) If I re-enter the pixel code with associated event codes using the new plugin I will also end up with duplications of code, which could cause problems.

    Many thanks in advance

  • p3rn1llama,

If you uninstall this plugin from the WP admin, the one database option that it has saved on your site will be removed and any pixel code you had pasted in for any pages/posts/CPTs will no longer be inserted on any of your pages. If you’re switching to the PixelYourSite plugin, you can just uninstall this plugin and set up that one immediately afterward without worrying about duplicate pixel code being inserted on your pages.

    Best of luck
