removing comments

  • When I go to
    Appearance-editor -comment php
    I see
    * Stop the rest of comments.php from being processed,
    * but don’t kill the script entirely — we still have
    * to fully load the template.

    Which part of the script should I remove ?

  • Hi nkwebdesign,

    Goto your particular post/ page. At the top right click on screen, Click on screen options. Select custom field and discussion using check box.

    At the below of the page/ post editor this below field is appeared.
    Allow comments.
    Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page.

    Uncheck both and save it. This will remove comments from your particular post/ page.

    If you like code customization then search comments_template(); on your theme and comment it //comments_template();
