Removing date, author, categories and leave a comment from a single post

Hi, I am using the Twenty Ten theme and want to remove the date, author, categories and leave a comment from a single sticky post.

I want this post to look like a home page to a visitor with the other posts showing underneath.

I have read about 20 topics about this but I don’t do HTML (in fact I am really a bit of a technoidiot!) so it is all going over my head. I am not even sure what CSS really is and I keep getting the two confused anyway. SORRY!!

From these topics I can find bits of code that I am meant to put in but haven’t a clue where I should be adding it.

I admit also to being more than a little worried about messing with stuff I don’t understand.

Can anyone please find the time to help me please?
