Removing date from ‘Hover with Date’

Hi support, I’m appreciating this plugin as a way to make a ‘gallery of galleries’ page for an artist website but I’m not crazy about having the date on the images. I’m wondering if there’s a way to remove the date from the hover with date option? I’ve tried a couple of the suggestions in this article but it doesn’t seem to be getting me anywhere and was wondering if you could give me any insights. Thanks!
