Removing dates from Max Mag Theme posts

You could do this:
Edit style.css line 880 as follows:

#content .post-meta {
    font-size: 12px;
    color: rgb(136, 136, 136);
    margin-bottom: 7px;
    display:none;
}

Uh oh, you don’t want to edit the theme’s files.
You can instead make a Child Theme and add your CSS change in the style.css file there.

For some reason on mine the ticker keeps dropping down to 2 lines & creating a giant space. Can anyone tell me why or how to fix this? Im attaching a screenshot.
