removing date/time and author info on static page

  • I’ve created a static frontpage for my site and was wondering if it’s possible to disable the date and time posted and author information? I’m running the “Waltz With Bashir” theme. I wanted to post the theme that I’m using because disabling the posted date/time and author info may be theme related? Not sure.

    After researching this issue more, I’m still not able to figure out how to do this. Has anyone had any experience with this or is this controlled by the theme that you choose?

    oh, well….i’ll give up on this and maybe move to another theme.
