• Hi,
In set-up of my blog, I have noticed that each post has an option to “edit this”, which if clicked takes them directly into the admin of each post. This also occurred on my home page. Through another forum, there were instructions to remove certain code and it would remove this. I followed instructions and it did remove the “edit this” language on the home page. However, it still shows in all the other posts. How can I resolve this problem?
    Thanks,
    Carol

  • you see that logged in as admin. No-one else does.

if you removed it from one page successfully, than you already know how to remove it from the others — edit the other theme files, locate the same bit of PHP and remove it.

thanks, this response has also helped me. i am using wordpress again and i was afraid my visitors would see the “edit this entry” link. i tested it from another computer and sure enough, it wasn’t visible!

    wordpress is great!

i just created my first post and published it. when i went into my website, on the bottom it has the date of the revision, the category it is in, and also the EDIT ability for anyone to get into my admin page. please help me get rid of this!!
