• Platos Pond is a website for kids and the blog on the site is also for middle school age kids. We can not (by law) nor do we want to ask kids for their name or email. However, we want kids to interact with the website. I want to turn off the requirements that the kids must put in their name and email to add a comment. Especially the email; I can change the requirement for name to knickname. I know a little PHP so if you could just tell me the file I need to change. I should be able to do this myself.

    Thank you,

  • You don’t need any PHP knowledge… just some familiarity with the tool you are using:

    Thank you.
That worked partially. I was able to get rid of the email requirement, however the form is still there.

I need to remove the forms for email and website as well as change out “name” to “nickname” or “webname”. Ideally I would like to go into the file and replace the string “name” to “nickname” and remove “mail” and “website” altogether. If you could tell me which file you would be saving me lots of time

    thank you
