Removing excess space from website header

Hello!

Removing the padding padding: 0; from the #header-text-nav-wrap, may do the trick.

#header-text-nav-wrap {
    padding: 20px 0 25px;

So would I just remove the 0 or the whole line of code starting with padding: ?

I tried changing the values there and that didn’t work.

All I really need to do is get that header smaller so it doesn’t take up so much space. The theme forces the 1400×400 size and I can’t scale it down.

You would just use padding: 0;

It will get rid of that white space for you.

That’s interesting. Your screenshot definitely shows some white space from the top gone.
