Removing Featured Image from post

  • Hi there –

    I have two questions –

    1. How do I remove the display of the featured image within my posts? I want the featured image to show on my homepage, but not within the post once a user navigates to it.

    2. When the large image preview comes up when I click on an image on my homepage – I can only navigate away from it by hitting my escape key, is there a way to make it so that upon click in on that preview image the image either goes away and the user is returned to the normal homepage view, or the user is taken to the post, or ideally, upon clicking on that preview the image progresses to the next one?

    1. To remove image within the post once a user navigates to it you need to go to Admin Panel / Customize / Theme Options / Layout Options.
    In this section you will see a setting called Image in Single Post/Page. Here you need to select No Image .

    2. When the large image preview comes up when clicking on an image on homepage, there is a cross button at top right hand side by clicking on which you can return to normal homepage view.
