Just starting to use this plugin. My understanding is that only the original image is uploaded to Optimole, not the various sizes generated by add_image_size. Based on this I’ve two questions:

    1. Once all images have been uploaded, can I go ahead and delete the images on my server? Just images, not directories? Or is this done automatically? I need the space!
    2. Does optimole size the images appropriatly in accordance with the image size specified in any given area of the site?

    Hi @dochara,
I won’t suggest deleting the image sizes. Inetad if you would like to free up yout disk space, I will highly recommend you to use our “Offload Media Library” option. With that enabled all your media library content will be moved to Optimole server freeing up your disk space. Also when you upload new media, it will be uploaded to Optimole server and won’t take any disk space. Also, when it is enabled Optimole will only upload the main image and stop WP from creating these image sizes as Optimole will handle that.

Thank you. I’ve done that – big reduction in used space, am very happy with that.
