Removing Global Page Title Settings

    When I publish a new page, the main index title gets added to the page title. For example: my index/home page title

    Blue and Red Widgets | XYZ Company

    If I create a page titled “company directory,” the title will show (in the title bar) Company Directory | Blue and Red Widgets | XYZ Company

    How do I get rid of the repetition? I want all new pages to have a discreet title without the addon.

    How can I achieve this? Is there a global setting for this in the admin panel?

  • This is sometimes caused by one of the SEO plugins. If you have an SEO plugin activated, look for options in it.

    I reinstalled the SEO plugin and was able to make the changes. Thank you very much! You hit the nail on the head.
