Removing Google Analytics Code from wordpress site

  • Hey everyone,

    so I would like to remove my google analytics code from my website. Problem is I forgot how I got it on there in the first place. I believe I put the code in the header. How do I find the header.php with the new wordpress? I think it used to be under Appearance –> Editor, but it’s not there anymore.

    My theme setting doesn’t have a code anywhere and I dont have the google analytics plug ins set up.

    Will you be able to access that via FTP?

    Or else you should get it under Appearance >> Editor section, if it is properly managed.

    I do not have an editor section under Appearances. How could this be? I have the latest wordpress update.
