removing job meta details from single job listing

With CSS, that’s up to each case. As I see you’re using Divi with its own page builder? That might matter here.

With the template change, that seems possible.

You’d need to override our default template file to do this. Here’s a general tutorial:

Hi and thanks for the reply.

to be clear, the part were trying to remove is the box at the top of the posting that begins with a small octane logo then contains this text

Tag
and to the right of it there is a website link.

It’s that whole box we would like to remove

We have overridden the default templates as described in the tutorial and would be ready to make some minor changes to the PHP code directly, but would appreciate some guidance as to which aspect of the code “e.g. in single_job_listing.php?” Needs to be removed or commented out? … to stop this “meta” appearing at the top of each single job posting.

I think the two best ways to remove this is just using CSS, or using this method where your remove the action of adding the meta box. https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/blob/1fcf1892e7eff6d42062646f891b60b3ad9dbcd6/wp-job-manager-template.php#L1127
