Removing Landing Page Redirects

    Hi,

    My site is not loading as quickly as i would hope. I have done everything i could to optimize the landing page (as per pingdom and gtmetrics recommendations). That said, I still have one last item to optimize – Landing Page Redirects. This would really speed up my site, but i am not even sure where to start (looked online but could not really find anything relevant)

    This is the message i am getting from GTmetrix:

    Avoid landing page redirects for the following chain of redirected URLs.

    Unfortunately i am not that advance. I can mess around with basic JS and php a so would really appreciate if anyone could give me a few tips. I believe i would need to make changes to my .htaccess file.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    I’ve moved this out of Developing with WordPress as it is not even remotely that.

    My site is not loading as quickly as i would hope.

    There is nothing wrong with your site’s page load.
