Removing Last Name Field

Hi JC, to remove the last name field and to replace it with a generic Name field set the shortcode attribute fnln equal to zero e.g.:
[easy_sign_up fnln='0']

Thanks, but I am using the widget rather than the shortcode, so I don’t have the option to do that. How do I edit the widget?

Go to your manage widgets panel in the WordPress admin locate the easy sign up widget you want to edit and uncheck the Separate the first and last name fields option.

Hi Green,

I just want the email id and I dont wish to collect both and first and last name. Could you please help me to do so.. I am using ESU via widget.

I also tried the shortcode [easy_sign_up fnln=’0′] but still the name field appear.

Hi Yuga, there is no option to turn off the name field.
Just thinking out of the box here but you could remove the input and label elements via jQuery

acandi3, the plugin does not work with out the name fields – it does allow you to combined the first and last names into a names field.
