in your admin panel, on the page editor search for the comment box and uncheck allow comment

There’s no option for that for some reason.. I usually see that but it doesn’t show..

I figured it out.. i went to screen options and had to check comments.. then i went and unchecked.. thanks

How about removing the search box in the header? Is there code I need to remove.. I’d like to keep the red but remove the search box..

is that in stylesheet? or in header.php

on both it works.
But better is to set it in your separate stylesheet yes
