    I apologize in advance for knowing very little about WordPress or design nomenclature. This is probably why I can’t find an asnwer to this question. WordPress keeps automatically adding navigation links beneath my main menu and I can’t find where in the settings to get rid of them. See the attached image for an example of what I am talking about. How can I remove/hide these redundant links? I am using the U-Design theme.

    To narrow it down, try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the causative plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue.

    seems to be what is called a ‘breadcrumb’ navigation;
    this is most likely done by your theme.

    as you are using a commercial theme, please consider to contact the developer of your theme for help with your question; https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/forum-welcome/#do-not-post-about-commercial-products

    @t-p When I deactivated all the plugins, the issue remained. When I switched to Twenty Sixteen, the issue went away so it appears it is in fact tied to my theme.

    @michael Thank you! Half of my issue was that I had no idea what the correct term was and no amount of Google Fu could produce it. I am hoping to avoid any editing of CSS or html but if I have no choice knowing the right term will at least help me figure out where to start.

    You got it ??

    As @alchymyth recommended above, For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there. It also allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code.
