Removing Main Categories

I’m building a page to show categories using [show_categories] and I notice there’s duplicate content. On the top of the page I see the categories and then there’s another section called Main Categories that lists the categories again. I just want to build a page that shows all my categories without duplicating content. Does anyone know how to fix that?
