I am using the Twenty Thirteen Theme for a simple site.
I do not know coding, and do not know jargon.
There is a menu/sidebar or something at the bottom of the page that I do not want. I can find no Widget or anything that controls it. It is comprised of three columns of titles to pages I am doing. They are on a black background.
Is there some way I can mask/delete/control this area?
    The address is:

    Thanks (I hope)
    Bill

    Coding could easily remove it.
in the absence of coding experience, it should be achievable as long as we find what’s doing it.

It looks like it is coming from the “Main Widget Area”

Check Appearance -> Widgets -> Main Widget Area and delete whatever is in there
