• At the bottom of my post there are a series of category or navigation lines before my comments and I can’t figure out how to get rid of them.

    There is the post, then a heading of the category, a line, another line, a navigation tab to another part of the website, another line, then “Like this post” and finally the comments.

    I’d like it to go from post to “Like this post” to comments. Can anyone help me with this?

    Thank you.

    Thank you…

    Here is the page with an example of the problem. There are a few other formatting problems that I can’t fix (and probably set up wrong).

    do you mean this area?

    <footer class="entry-meta">
    						<div class="entry-categories">
    					<a href="https://www.sacredbandofthebes.com/category/making-of/" title="View all posts in Making Of" rel="category tag">Making Of</a>				</div>
    						</footer>

    Unfortunately, I have no idea what that coding means as I’m quite the neophyte and just trying to fix what my original site builder put together.

    Basically what I’m talking about is after my article there is something close to:

    Making Of

    What I’m trying to do is go from the end of the article directly to the “like this post” and then the comments.

    Does this make sense?

    Thank you for all you help.

    if you are not yet comfortable with coding, then i don’t recommend that you make changes on your own to the theme files. changing the theme file(s) is what is actually needed to modify the footer.

    Okay, thanks. Most of that stuff is a bit over my level and too detailed for my needs. Just looking to make one basic fix.

    Thank you anyway for your time.

    while the fix might be relatively simple i don’t want to instruct you to do something that could cause problem with your website display. before making a change, a child theme needs to be in place and a change made to a specific template file.
