This plugin is working fantastically to help me update my alt tags. Before I get too far into it, I wanted to verify that once I’ve made the updates and used the Fix It plugin to also update the media images in the post, that I can remove the plugin from my site to prevent bloat without losing any of the work I’ve done.

Thanks for the positive feedback and for your question. I am happy to read that MLA is useful for your tasks.

None of the changes you make to posts/pages or Media Library items will be disturbed if you uninstall MLA or its example plugins. You can delete MLA option settings by navigating to the Settings/Media Library Assistant General tab, scrolling down to the “Uninstall (Delete) Plugin Settings” section and checking the “Delete Option Settings” box before deactivating and deleting the plugin. You can find a more detailed answer in this earlier topic:

Need to Categorize and render PDF list

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions regarding the above suggestions. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
