Removing Powered by WordPress footer in Sela theme

It also appears you’re not using the Sela Theme

In your Child Theme or CSS Editor Plugin try this code:

.site-info {
  display: none;
}

I’ve pasted it into My Custom CSS Manager Plugin. It doesn’t seem to work. And I can’t manage to find from where I can create my Child theme.
Don’t really know what else I can try ??

I managed to have it wrong.
Could you please send what’s written in the Sela footer.php file?
