Removing read more text

    Sorry for the question. I have seen that it has been answered already some times, but perhaps no of these answers can satisfy me. May be I am too stupid, but I can’t find a way to change the read more text in my posts https://www.allescheisse.de Links to wordpress translation help don’t help, because I don’t understand them. Can anybody tell me, which file I have to open and to change? I am using the premium version of arcade and a child theme.

    check this in Dashboard > Themes Editor> functions.php.
    Halfway the file you’ll find:
    get_permalink( get_the_ID() ) . '">' . __( 'Read more →',

    Change ‘Read more’ in whatever you want and save the file.
    That’s it. Works for me in Arcade Basic. Check this.

    And every time you update the theme you’ll have to make the alteration.
