removing spam followers

It’s currently not possible to remove email addresses your list of subscribers, but we’re looking into the problem. Other Jetpack users have reported such issues in the past, and we’re looking to solutions to make it more difficult for spammers to subscribe to a Jetpack site.

I too would appreciate an option (could be as simple as an “X” in the list) to manually remove email followers. I do not want to blacklist people, but simply help the not-so-tech-savvy folks that subscribed twice with different email addresses, things like that.

I’d like to add my vote for some way to remove followers (from the blog subscriptions widget).

I send out my own customized email to followers, and I don’t want to burden them with two notices.

Another vote. I run a small-town ISP. Many of my subscribers are unsophisticated retirees. Jetpack makes it easy for them to subscribe to my service announcement blog just by typing in their email address and then clicking on an emailed verification link. But if they leave my service, they have no idea how to unsubscribe from my blog, because that’s not so easy. So they all ask me to remove them. Well, I can’t, and I’d like to be able to.

If some of your readers come to you for help, you can point them to the Unsubscribe link appearing at the bottom of each subscription email they received from your site. That’s probably the easiest way to unsubscribe from a site.

Another vote to be able to remove a follower.
