Removing the 4 widget areas. What are they called, please?

To remove the widgetized areas inside the functions.php of your child theme add the code below.

function remove_wp_mobile_menu_widgets(){

	// Unregister some of the TwentyTen sidebars
	unregister_sidebar( 'mobmlefttop' );
	unregister_sidebar( 'mobmleftbottom' );
	unregister_sidebar( 'mobmrighttop' );
	unregister_sidebar( 'mobmrightbottom' );
}
add_action( 'widgets_init', 'remove_wp_mobile_menu_widgets', 11 );

This should do the trick. Let me know if it worked.
