• Hi all,

First of…Alexander – a fantastic theme, very user-friendly and looks great. Many thanks.

    My query is this…

Is it possible to remove the date (and even the author name) from the metadata of selected posts?

I’m attempting to create an ‘About Us’ category to my site which would include posts on the background info to the site, contributor biogs, lists of partner organisations etc. I’d prefer these posts not to be dated (and thus avoid them becoming dated). Is it possible to remove the metadata from these posts and the relevant category archive page (Which would be used as an ‘About Us’ page)?

Any help/thoughts on how to go about this would be great. Many thanks in advance.

  • hi, I think you can hide them in the following manner, for example .post .category-xxx .post-date {display: none; } In the stylesheet of the children theme

Hi juanyo, thanks for taking the time to make a suggestion.
I tried this but unfortunately it doesn’t work. I’ve also tried to hide the date via the post-id route, but again it just has no affect.
Happy to use plugins if necessary, but they all seem to remove the date entirely from your site rather than just from individual posts. Strange.
