    Hi Everyone!

So I have been searching the code base, as well as WP and SO to no avail. There is an email field in the shipping on edit-order, but I cannot find it anywhere. Also, it’s not once you click on the pencil icon to actually edit, it’s the initial screen you come onto to see the order detail.

I would like to remove the “Email address:” in the shipping. Throwing an unset in the child theme’s functions.php file doesn’t do anything as well.

    Here is a screenshot: https://rmellodesign.com/shipping-edit-order-before-edit-form.png

Thanks for your help in advance!

    Cheers,
    Ron

    Hi Ron,

    Thanks for contacting us!

By default, the Email address field is displayed only for the billing section on the order edit page.

I believe a plugin may have added the additional email field in shipping.

You could try deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and see if the field disappears. If not, you could place a test order (while keeping all other plugins disabled) to see if the email field appears in the shipping section.

    I hope this helps! ??

We’ve not heard back from you, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. Hopefully, the above info was helpful.
