Removing the user login bar

    Hi all

    My first post!

    Firstly, I am a complete beginner!

    The website in question does not belong to me, however I have been asked to look after it. It was not setup by me but I’m looking to make some changes as it does not flow well at the moment and needs some serious content improvement.

    One thing I noticed is the login/become a member bar at the top of the page.
    I would like to hide the bar as it is confusing for visitors. The only place we want people to register and login is from the Technical Forums page.

    Is the bar Im talking about the admin bar? I don’t think it is. The admin bar is the one that shows you Dashboard access etc. Correct?

    How do I hide the user bar please? I don’t know what plugin causes it to be there?
    Perhaps the WPForo plugin for the forums?

    The quickest and easiest way is to add the following to your css:

    
.top-bar-holder { display: none !important }

    You can add that in one of 2 places:
    – appearance > theme editor > styles.css
    – appearance > customize > additional css
