I’ve read a lot of articles about removing the string that’s added to the url for geolocating and cache. It seems strange to me that this is added to all pages since the shipping costs are applied at the checkout page only.
We use WP Rocket cache and choose Geolocate (with page caching support). What happens when we change this to Geolocate? Will the correct shipping costs be used?

The reason I want to get rid of the string is that is slows down the site considerably.
