    Hi Mark,

Because one cannot edit certain topic settings, I deleted and re-created a topic in order to change the default category and author associated with that topic.

However, doing so made all of the existing posts on the training page unable to be used (made live etc.). I’m sure there is a reason for that, but just wondering if there is anything I could do other than re-adding each training post to the training page manually.

    Thanks, Jan

You should be able to edit all of the Topic settings except the name,. If you do edit the fields, they don’t affect existing Training Posts, just new ones, so changing the Author and default Category should affect future Training Posts after the edit.

As for your new Topic, I’m assuming you used a new Topic name when you added the new one. That would leave the old Training Posts as ‘orphans’. You might try adding a Topic with the old name. That should link to the older training posts and allow you to work with them again.

Thank you very much Mark. I will give that a try.

I may have been confused from an earlier situation where I needed to change the name. Anyway, in my haste I may have neglected to see that one can click on the name to edit.
