Removing unused images by size for old file sizes

Hello. I have a question about this plugin’s capability.

Can it remove unused images by size for sizes that are not currently in use/being generated by a WordPress theme? For example, let’s say I had an old theme that generated a bunch of thumbnails I no longer use anywhere on my site. Can the plugin scan for these old thumbnails or does it only scan using the registered file sizes of my current theme?

Trying to clean up my media folders after switching to a new theme and also now realizing my site used to automarically generate a bunch of thumbnail sizes after each image upload that I never used..
