Good morning, I’ve tried to translate the text of the “close” button of a gallery.

I added the Dutch word “sluiten” to the sgg-nl_NL.po file and compiled it and placed it in wp-content/languages/plugins

But still the word is not translated. What to do now?

After adding a photo the “close” button is now changed to “sluiten”. Also the “next” button is changed to “volgende”.

But the “prev” button is still “prev”. Could not find the word in the po file. I found “previous” which I changed to “vorige” but it is not showing up.

    Strange!

    Solved!

I had to use default.po in the directory gallery-by-supsystic\app\langs (instead of the translated po file) and created a new sgg-nl_NL.po file. There was a string called “prev” and I could translate it (among all other strings….).
