Hi there. Is it possible to change the slug for the “cm-answers” custom post type? As I’m using this plugin to create a general-purpose forum, rather than a specific Q&A system, I’d like to have its automatically generated archive page located at example.com/forum, rather than example.com/answers.

I can see where this slug is initially defined (const REWRITE_SLUG = ‘answers’; in lib/models/AnswerThread.php), but I’d prefer not to muck around with modifying the plugin’s core files. Is there a way I could modify the slug or permalink structure? I’m currently using the free version of the plugin – is this a feature I’d find in the Pro version?

Thanks in advance for your assistance. And thanks for this plugin, as well – it’s a great system, very quick and straightforward, and I’ve been more than satisfied with it so far.

    Hi,
changing the permalink part for the answers archive is supported by the Pro version. Free version doesn’t support this but you can modify the source code since this is GPLv2 license.
