Rename Custom Post Type

    Just wondering if anybody knew how to rename a Custom Post Type pre Rest API ONLY.

    What i mean is my theme uses a custom post type of wp_business but i need to take details to an Ionic App via Rest API. The ionic App is already written for Custom Post Type business.

    So i’m wondering if it’s possible to re-name wp_business to business but only for Rest API, i don’t actually want to rename it in my theme.
