Rename feed?

    Hi,

    first of all thanks for this great plugin!

    However, I have a strange problem. By accident, I deleted a feed. I made a new one with the same filters and rules but the original feed was already registered in a local market search engine. In this local search engine I do not have the possibility to change the feed url. Can I somehow rename the new feed I made to the old one?

    At the moment I have to manually make a copy of the new feed and rename it to the old one to keep it updated for this local search engine.

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Unfortunately our plugin currently doesn’t have the option to rename the feed URL.

    Can I manually rename the feed in the database tables and via ftp? Will this work? Any suggestions/guidelines on which database records should I change?

    Hi Chris,

    Unfortunately that won’t work. The feed name exists out of a unique string that is being used all over the plugin code. When you would rename the feed the processing of it won’t work anymore.

    Maybe you can reach out to the local market search engine instead asking their support how you can use a different feed URL? Perhaps they can reset something at their end?
