Rename login

    Hi

    Just a little question.

    I enabled “rename login page” and it works.
    However, I still get notifications about users who have failed to login ?

    How can that be ? They should not be able to find the login page at all ?

    Hi, have you enabled one of the following?

    Completely Block Access To XMLRPC:
    Disable Pingback Functionality From XMLRPC:

    If you haven’t then I recommend that you do. Some hackers attempt to get into the site via XMLRPC file. To enable one of the above, go to WP Security -> Firewall -> Basic Firewall Rules.

    Yes, it’s enabled.
    It could be bare coincidence, that someone guessed the “secret” login path ?

    However – I’ll supply you with the WP logfile(s). if you need to investigate an eventually issue. Just let me know.
