Rename online Theme and Childtheme ?

  • Hi,

    on an online site I’d need to rename a Theme and its Childtheme.
    As I am quite new to WordPress I am wondering how to do that “easily”…

    Of course I think about making a copy of the site and a SQL export prior touching anything.

    Secondly I think about making a huge find/replace in these 2 folders (parent + child themes) to replace the old names by new ones. Like this all scripts, css should be linked properly.

    The remaining thing would be to modify database. But what tables ?
    I see in the table wp-options the following option_name
    – template
    – stylesheet
    – current_theme

    But I am afraid to break everything…

    Your advise is welcome!
