Renamed wp-content & oops

    Prompted by iThemes Security, I foolishly renamed the wp-content folder. Figured out how to fix images on rest of site and managed to get Recipe Card working again but images that accompany recipes are not showing.

    Looking in the media library, the images appear to have been renamed to include new wp-content folder name. Is there a place I can go in to update where images are stored for Recipe Card and point RC to renamed folder?

    My first suggestion would be to uninstall the plugin and then reinstall it. Let me know if that works for you.

    I backed up and deactivated the plugin, then deleted the Recipe Card plugin files when prompted (I did not see an uninstalloption).

    Installed the plugin again and not only does the plugin not work now, but my site is down! I get ‘error’ in the top left corner of a white screen, and cannot go to the Dashboard to restore from backup.

    Got site working again but the images that were uploaded when recipes were originally posted are still not showing.

    Recipe Card is in the renamed wp-content plugins folder; new recipes with images display correctly.

    Given that new recipes work, I’d first try opening the old recipes and re-saving them (you may have to add the images again).

    If that doesn’t work, you may have to recreate the recipes.

    Opening the old recipes shows the images are in the Gallery; clicking Gallery and ‘Insert into post’ (again) the images show up in the Recipe Card recipe after Saving. FYI the link URL shown in the Gallery is same as Recipe Card plugin (renamed wp-content folder) (?)

    Thanks for the support! Great plugin and I was worried the problems would be insurmountable (yikes!) Thank you for helping resolve this.
