renaming wp-content and hide backend issues in v4.0.2
-
Tests conducted on local server
Test Limitations:
With XAMPP, 2012 theme, and only “iThemes Security – Advanced”
Compatibility with other plugins not yet tested.Bug 1:
Hide Backend working as usual if wordpress installed in root directory.
Ex: Login URL:https://localhost/test5/wplogin5
But Hide Backend not working if wordpress installed in its own directory.
Ex: Login URL:https://localhost/test6/own/wplogin6
The above url not working.Capital letters not working. Even if we do so it converts to small letters
Combination of letters and numbers are allowing for this but not capital letters.Bug 2:
Renaming wp-content directory option under Advanced Tab not working
If rename the default name to something custom, then plugin is missing under installed plugins. And I found that nothing was written on wp-config.php for the above settings.
